New York with Beacon

Dave's work had a business trip to NYC. So a few of us spouses tagged along. Here we are at Gallagher's steak house. When walking to this place we were in a terrible rainstorm due to Hurricane Hannah. We were all so wet, but the food was great...Thanks Dave

Walking the streets of NYC.

When the guys were busy working, Jai-Dee and I took a drive to the very point of Long Island to Montauk Point. We toured the lighthouse and museum. This lighthouse stands on a historic and spectacular site dating back to the Native Americans of the Montaukett Tribe. It was here, high above the ocean, that the Montauketts built watch fires to guide their canoes safely home. 1796
The Montauk beach was very rocky. Jai-Dee like the sound of the ocean water running over the rocks as it returned back to the sea.
These pictures are out of order, but it was easier to leave them here. But here is the gang waiting for Wicked the musical to start. It was a great show. Dave and I have seen it before and it is still as awesome the second time. I hope to be able to see it again.

I don't have a picture of the Lyndhurst mansion that Jai-Dee and I went to see. It was located in Tarrytown near the Bronx. Beacon has tom tom (which I called Delila) the gps, and it got us everywhere we needed to be. So I can say that I have sucessfully drove the perimeter of NY from Melville to Tarrytown and to Montauk point. Thanks Delila....
